Dear Juno, Or Any Other Teenage Parent in The Same Situation
I have just watched your movie and can honestly say that I am very impressed with the way you handled the situation you were in. Even though you so irresponsibly put yourself there and were a complete idiot about the way you went about losing your virginity, and with Bleeker!.... really?? how bored were you? couldn’t you have just walked down to Circle K and gotten one of those blue slushies you Love so much and you know what, you could have grabbed some wonderful willy warps while you were at it. And the Blair Witch Project was on! come on man.
But anyways I really do think what you did by carrying the baby to term and giving him to vanessa so she could have the gift of motherhood was a very selfless act and was really the right thing to do. Even though I think that an abortion would have been a much easier decision socially and on your body and put in the same situation I don’t think I could be as brave as you. You are a good person and I believe you did what was right for you.
